Fraser Island is one of the worlds most unique islands. It began
life many millions of years ago as a few grains of sand washed
up on a small rocky out crop. Today it measures 120 kilometers
x 15 kilometers and is the largest sand island in the world. It's
clear water streams, perched lakes and unique vegetation make
it a must for any tourists itinerary.
